It sucks to be you....

Mummy called me a million times this morning. She wanted me to pick her up from Tintap. Goshhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I had to wake up and drive a 30-mins drive to Daddy's to get her. On the way back, I called Mae2 and we had lunch at a restaurant called Beaufort (yes, the place where Runny is from)... We then went to Wisma Merdeka to have a haircut. Yes.... A haircut. Something I dread most. Well, I thought of having a trim and restyling it. My aim was to still be able to tie it up on a ponytail. Hehehe... I cut it short, like real short and I look like a schoolgirl. Anyway, Mae2 sat for almost 6 hours doing her straightening or rebonding or whatever it was. Mine took less than 2 hours.

I managed to get a few things done today. First, I went to Borneo Divers to meet up with anybody I can talk to about my research paper. I spoke to Servie who I thought was quite helpful. I emailed her less than an hour later on the questions I need to ask the Managing Director, Mr. Clement. She didn't reply... yet.... Next, I went to Sabah Tourism (which is next to the former Stamford College - I was told that the college was no longer in operation as their certificates were not recognised). I didn't get to speak with anyone but I did enquire about this and that, and took some brochures :))))

I walked back to Wisma Merdeka and sat down at Coffee Bean with my Ultimate Ice Blended. I sent a few emails and shit I forgot reply Dr. B again!!! I keep on forgetting to reply his mails... :P Anyway, I might be meeting David after all this coming Monday or Wednesday. He asked to call him then. I need to remember this and get my stuff done man! Ooooooo I'm so glad Mohamed emailed me an article which is sooooooooooooo fitting to my conference paper on travel blogs man! He's da' bomb!!! Maybe he did it because I emailed him once on a paper on "authenticity". Did I? I forgot man... Anyway, it was a kind thought. I have only started the introduction part and might not be able to finish the whole thing. How should I tell this to Dr. B? Can I take my words back and not participate in this writting for a conference paper??? Hah! It wouldn't be nice man... Hmmmm...

Gosh. Anyway, since Mae2 took 100 hours to do her hair, I walked over to Gaya Street where Restaurant Thien Thien is located. Apparently, their food there is really good. The combined birthday party, Mummy and Trevor's was quite good man. I think we had more than 7 different dishes and 4 repeated ones. It fed a family of 8 adults and 1 Kimo Xan for a cost of RM 150.68!!! Since I paid for dinner, I feel so broke...and broken... Btw, my haircut was RM 49 and Mae2's was RM 380! After dinner and sending the birthday dude home, Mae2 and I shang-ed for a while before leaving to pick up Jess at around midnight. Since Mae2 had not eaten a lot during dinner as she arrived towards the finishing, we went to McDonald's (again!!!) and ate fries. We bought 2 large ones this time around. After only 6 bites of her Double Cheeseburger, speak of the devil, Jess called and said she just landed. Dammit!!! We had to scoop our fries back into the paper thingy and gulp down the remainder of Mae2's burger and my yucky Mudpie ice cream (gross!!!)....

The best thing tonight was, instead of laying out the plans for Jess to pick and choose what she wants to do for the weekend, we went over to Salim at Lintas to talk about the past, present and future. Nice. Nothing concrete about tomorrow but I think it'll be a food galore day! Jess got me an orange shirt and Mae2, pink from Kuching. Her's is a cool, lime green Kuching shirt. Dammit! Mae2 and I love the colour green more than McDonald's fries man! Anyway, gifts are accepted and so was the ikan terubuk masin................................... I will tell Mummy how she should cook this funky fish!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... It sucks to be you man.... That's the catchphrase for the day... Mae2 is sleeping over and Luna thinks he's hot stretching on the bed. Damn. I think I'll wake up late tomorrow. Hehe...
